SCMS Mounted Shooting Clinic
January 6, 2008
On Jan 6th, at the Red Rock Arena in Bonnie
Springs, the Sin City Mounted Shooters conducted a Mounted Shooting
Clinic to train and certify new members, and to help the current
membership train new, prospective mounted shooting horses. The
2-hour clinic was conducted by our own "Cactus" Concha Wade. Upon
arrival at 8am, it was windy & cold, with rain & occasional hail,
but the gods were smiling on us, as the wind, rain, and hail
subsided from 10am until noon, and most stayed to brave the
blistering cold. We had a fabulous turnout, and a successful
clinic; kudos to our new mounted shooters! Everyone's
cleared-in-hot for next week's Stardust WPQ match at Red Rock Arena,
9am sharp.
Oh, and thanks for your patience, today, in allowing us to work
through some equipment issues at the beginning. Also, thanks to
those who attended our membership meeting that followed the clinic.
Our Secretary, Dalayne, will be sending out an email/newsletter
recapping the key issues discussed. See you next weekend and enjoy
